As Indiana’s flagship university spanning 9 campuses across the state, the brand has been through many iterations over it’s 200+ year history. After a few disjointed efforts to modernize and unify the visual language, it was clear a design system that was accessible and consistent across the university system was needed.

Indiana University recognized that students across it’s campuses were struggling with their mental health which was contributing to diminished student success. A multi-channel campaign was developed to raise awareness of and introduce new additions to the tools and resources available to students.

Following several successful cycles, the campaign was due for a data-informed strategy update, and recent university brand updates were an opportunity to test and refresh creative executions.

The student recruitment and yield journey is handled by several different offices which has previously led to a disconnected user journey. Strategic collaboration between stakeholders resulted in a cohesive experience for prospective students.
