Burningword Literary Journal was a beautiful journal that after 10 years was ready for a redesign. I worked to create an elegant and flexible layout system that would work across content types including poetry and short stories. The design employed a monochromatic palette for each issue providing a cohesive look across unique issues. The clean typography maintains focus on the content.
